Challenge

Becaptain joined Mottu's engineering team as development consultants. The mobility super-app had to serve millions of users while showing a live delivery-area map — even in the background — with a UI product could change without shipping a new build, and an architecture that scales service by service.

Approach

1. 01Contributed to the real-time delivery-area map that keeps updating in the background via polling.
2. 02Worked on the Server-driven UI so product could reshape screens without an app release.
3. 03Helped structure the app with Clean Architecture, microservices and microfrontends for scale.
4. 04Contributed to chat, push notifications and in-app payments on top of a .NET backend.
